| Christopher Astley is a sculptor who constructs (or collects and alters) bags and containers to use as molds for making sculptures. Astley's work has been included in exhibitions at: BravinLee programs, Salomon Contemporary and Kathleen Cullen Fine Arts. Astley's Sculpture "Geronimo" is in The Margulies Collection and was exhibited in Miami, Florida beginning November 10 - December 2010. His work is also in the Lowe Art Museum, University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida; Fisher Gallery, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California; H&R Block Artspace at Kansas City Art Institute, Kansas City, Missouri;Contemporary Art Museum, University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida. |  |
