BravinLee is pleased to have curated a small group of artists to create rugs for West Elm.
Samantha Bittman is a Brooklyn-based artist specializing in colorful woven pieces that celebrate her expert eye for intricate, geometric patterns. For West Elm she’s created an exclusive rug in collaboration with BravinLee Programs. Anna Kunz is a Chicago-based artist who aims to expand the notions of paintings from just a 2D space to encompassing architecture + more. Her paintings, sculptures + installations have been exhibited internationally. For West Elm she’s translated her mastery of hue + form to our exclusive rug created in collaboration with BravinLee Programs. Warren Isensee is a New York City-based artist whose work has been displayed in galleries for over 20 years. With a focus on the relationship colors have with each other, his pieces inhabit many forms. We worked with Warren to translate a painting that showcases his unique artistic vision to an exclusive rug in collaboration with BravinLee Programs.
